4th OSTEOproSPINE Progress meeting

The OSTEOproSPINE consortium gathered virtually for their 4th Progress meeting on October 14-15, 2021.

Already being familiar with the event being an online-conference, the partners were looking forward towards a fruitful and lively meeting despite the social distancing. The meeting not only focused on the progress achieved but mainly on the project sustainability and the upcoming steps since the latest results of the study look really promising.

The consortium members discussed the presented status updates and the latest developments in the conduct of the clinical trial. The completion of the patient recruitment is considered a major project success and an important milestone, especially since achieved amidst the global pandemic.

During two meeting days, 34 participants attended the project’s meeting sessions. Although the virtual meeting was very successful, the consortium is now looking forward to finally having a face-to-face gathering in early autumn of 2022.
