Smart Medico d.o.o. is Contract Research Organization established in January 2005 in Zagreb, Croatia in order to actively cooperate in the ethical scientific research programs of pharmaceutical, biotech and innovative companies by organizing and managing clinical operations aimed to develop better medicines for people.
Smart Medico has abundant experience in preparing regulatory files and set up of clinical trial sites as well as in monitoring activities of numerous multicenter clinical trials from Phase I to Phase IV. Also, Smart Medico has experience in many different therapeutic areas with the accent on bone metabolism and endocrinology (long bone healing, autologous chondrocytes implantation and osteoporosis). The founder of Smart Medico, Snjezana Martinovic has more than 13 years of experience in basic research and university experience in the field of bone metabolism (in vitro/in vivo), clinical trial experience since 2002, managerial experience since 2005.
Currently Smart Medico’s team is managing 7 clinical trials in different therapeutic areas and in different conduct phases. In OSTEOproSPINE project, Smart Medico will prepare, initiate, manage and monitor all participating sites in order to conduct stringent clinical trial in accordance with ICH GCP principles and local legislation, thereby ensuring high quality of collected data.
