The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery recognises itself as a university centre for diagnosis and therapy and the prevention of congenital and acquired diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Our chief aim is to give the patients the best possible medical treatment. An important focal point in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery’s work is scientific research of the diseases treated at our Clinic – the cause, progression, diagnosis and therapy according to epistemic principles.
We are experienced in processing founded projects, e.g. the previous Osteogrow-Project. In this current study - OsteProSpine – our team in Vienna is the first recruiting centre in stage 1. After this intensive safety phase our further cooperation partners will start with the enrolment. Therefore a closed contact, perfect communication and support in all areas is essential. An EU-Project requires best trained team players.
